A yandere will usually be the jealous type and show violence to those who get close to their love, or even hurt their love if they feel betrayed.

One of the main characters is an overly extreme Yandere for those who might not know what that means, a Yandere is a a person who is usually psychotic or violent towards others including the person they love. From forced, all to frequent slap stick, and terrible nonsensical humor the manga tries to be something enjoyable, but instead it feels like the mangaka is shoving their humor down your throat. First off the humor Love Tyrant has a variety of comedy done poorly. If that wasn’t enough there is a weird out of place supernatural aspect to the story, and plot holes riddled throughout. This is suppose to be a comedic referential moment, but instead it makes for a boring and awkward first experience though why stop there, the story is filled with forced terrible comedy as well as horribly constructed romance between Seiji and the many girls in his harem.

The notebook that I spoke of in the summary of the manga’s story is called the Kiss Note even Seiji comments on it being a Death Note. Instead of establishing something original for itself it instead blatantly rips off another manga with in the first couple pages. It’s one of the most lazy and boring manga I’ve read to date. Love Tyrant is probably one of the most cliche harem mangas out there though it’s possibly one of the worst as well. It’s riddled with plot holes and other problems that I’m surprised got a pass. Remember there will be spoilers especially in the first segment, because the story is one of the key problems. It’s overly cliche and hardly funny, but I’ll let the review speak for me. It’s not a good series it has a lot of problems right from the start. I’m currently caught up with the manga and watch a little of the anime so I could give an honest impression, and from my experience I can say this. From what I could gather the manga was well received so I thought why not give it a try. Now I don’t remember how I came across this manga it was before the anime started airing, but near the time it was revealed there would be one. If the manga isn’t your style then you can always watch the anime that is currently airing as well just recently the manga has started it’s adaptation and it currently has eight episodes. I know there are around eight volumes translated, but can’t honestly say which it’s currently at however, you can find up to chapter forty four online. The manga is being published on the Comic Meteor website and currently has eleven volumes over in Japan, or 11.5 volumes? Whatever the amount, the manga is a long running series that started back in 2012 As for us here the manga hasn’t officially been licensed, but you can read it online thanks to translators. Renai Boukun, or Love Tyrant here in the states, is a romantic harem comedy from mangaka Mihoshi Megane.
